Parent View
Parent View
Each year the school asks parents to complete a survey covering all aspects of school life. This is additional to feedback opportunities available at our Parents Meetings and other opportunities for review such as behaviour and wellbeing when we may ask for our parent voice in changing or improving school policy and/or procedure.
Our next Parent Survey will take place in May 2024.
Ofsted Parent View
Parent View is an online questionnaire and gives parents and carers the chance to tell Ofsted what you think about this school, from the quality of teaching to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour. The survey can be completed at any time; you don’t have to wait until the school is being inspected.
Parent View has replaced the paper questionnaires that inspectors used to circulate at the time of a school inspection to gather parents’ views.
When our school is notified of its next Ofsted inspection, parents will be invited to give their views about the school to inspectors using Ofsted's Parent View online facility.
To complete the short questionnaire on Parent View you simply need an email address and a password to register. Once your login has been activated, it only takes a few minutes to choose answers to 12 short questions about the school, such as how well we deal with bullying, the quality of teaching, whether the level of homework given to your child is appropriate, and whether you would recommend the school to other parents.
Inspectors will consider parents’ views alongside other evidence when making a judgement about a school. It is also useful for us because it gives valuable information about what you think of the school and helps us to improve.
If you do not have a computer or an email address or if you would like help to use Parent View, please come into school and ask at reception.
